Kalia, Narail
There are several ways to go: Dhaka-Khulna highway through Dighalia-Gopalganj country side, Mollarhat-Chunkhola country side. Country side through Khulna-Kalia-Bardia. Panipara country side via Jessore-Narail-Kalia.
An eco park of unique natural beauty has been set up in Panipara village of Kalia upazila of Narail. Arunima Country Side is her name. Here you can spend a lot of time in the shade of the trees, listening to the songs of the birds, by the water. The well-planned combination of modern style and modernity of abhaman rural Bengal has been done here. There is not much opportunity in this country to come out of the busy urban life and take a deep breath. If desired, a dream village mixed with the sweetness of the mind can be created even in the neglected neighborhoods of this country.
The name of the village is Panipara. Dark village. Backward village of Kalia upazila of Narail district. There is electricity in the countryside but almost all the time the village is in darkness. Sighs. The clever fox runs away with a hookah. The path of pouring pitch, the path of laying bricks, the path of raw mud is lost in the lap of the bill at one stage. Panipara village of Kalia upazila crossed the green covered road about 50 km from Narail Sadar. A village as ordinary as a thousand villages in Bangladesh. But Panipara village has made history by preserving the history and heritage of this country. The darkness has been removed and the place of light has become fair. Panipara was rich inside, keeping the lost wealth in its bosom. This village is now a different world. The name of this world is Arunima Country Side. Khabiruddin Ahmed, a talented creative man of the village, has sown the seeds of the dream of that country side. That seed tree today is blossoming, flowering, ornamental. That adornment has overwhelmed the village of Panipara, crossed the boundaries of ten villages and is now calling for beautification of Bangladesh as well. Panipara is opening its green door and urging nature lovers to join it. Responding to this call, colorful birds are flying and sitting on the branches of the Zhou tree on the country side. Missing animals are also looking for addresses.
Arunima Country Side is an eco park on one side, a fish farm on the other side and it can also be called a huge flower and fruit garden. Arunima has been skillfully crafted as an artist for more than a decade. Arunima has been given a tip of natural beauty by cutting 19 lakes and filling the beel and planting thousands of flower and fruit saplings on 150 bighas of land at the confluence of Madhumati and Nabaganga rivers. Apart from mahogany, zhao, mango and rose gardens, there are about one and a half thousand species of trees here. Many lost bird nests can be found on tree branches.
Indigenous species of fish are swimming in the lakes. On its banks is the skillful garden of Amrapali. The income from dighi and mango trees is lakhs of rupees. Fresh fish, vegetables and fruits are being handed over to the tourists. Cows, horses, dogs, chickens, animals, livestock, snakes and frogs have brought back the past by conserving the biodiversity of the eco park.
Apart from providing all kinds of entertainment for the tourists, there is a modern restaurant in the middle of the lake. There are cottages with all kinds of modern facilities to stay, rural houses, floating cottages. The two-room cottage built on the boat has a red carpet, AC, fridge. In addition to 30 forest picnic spots, various play facilities for children and adults, library, rest house, long hanging bridge, speed boat, boat, horse carriage, guard dog, lotus pond, blue lotus of lotus pond, beautiful nursery, nursery with native and foreign trees. Arunima Country Side has developed into a truly separate country.
The confluence of the Madhumati-Nabaganga is available for swimming in the tides of the island, boat trips as well as arrangements for getting lost in the flower forest in the lake water in the light of the Chad at Arunima. Irfan Ahmed, MD, Arunima Country Side, said, "We are trying to build an agro-based tourist place in the country by training village fishermen and farmers and connecting them with it." Domestic and foreign tourists will come here. We are working together with the dream that they will see the real Bangladesh inside Bangladesh.
